A member of The Danemead Campsite Explorer Scout Unit, and has given a huge amount of time as part of their service crew, clearing, painting and the general running of the site.

Jordan Romer, Scout at 27th Enfield

A highly popular and motivated Patrol Leader, shown good motivational skills and always keen to help other people.

Keiron King, Scout at 20th Enfield

Has displayed huge drive and determination to succeed with his Scouting. Within five months of joining Scouts from Cubs, he attended three camps and absolutely loved it.

Conor Sullivan, Scout at 23rd Enfield

Has become a valuable mentor for younger Scouts, and shows good ability to run activities during his Troop night and at camp.

Josh Harwood, Explorer Scout

A keen and particularly helpful Young Leader with Cub Scouts at the 23rd Enfield. Particularly good at running activities and games, and supporting the Cubs with their badgework.

Martin Lambert, Enfield Scout Network

Key Network member, always ahowing enthusiasm and excellence, he has taken it upon himself to organise many varied and unusual activity nights.

Cara Rawlinson, Explorer Scout

Has organised two District camps and several major District events. Also works as a Young Leader for Cub Scouts and held the Pack together through a period of Leader change.

Jade Healey, Explorer Scout

Has given huge invaluable help with the running and organisation of her Explorer Scout Unit, has managed training for an experienced team for a hiking competition.

James Coventon, Scout at 12th Enfield

Has helped with a vast amount of fundraising for his Scout Group. Kept popping up working at The Enfield Pageant, The Enfield Steam and Country Show and the Enfield Town Show.

Chris Jones, Scout at 12th Enfield

A huge Group fundraiser, stood out in all weathers at the Enfield Pageant and sold 700 raffle tickets at the Enfield Town Show.

Emma Mayne, Explorer Scout

Has become an excellent role model and is an outstanding Young Leader with the 10th Edmonton Beaver Scouts, her old Scout Troop and at camp.

Charlotte Earney, Scout at 2nd Enfield

An experienced and competent Patrol Leader and excellent Scout. Has already begun working as a Young Leader working in both the Beaver Scout and Cub Scout Sections.

John Bachelor, Scout at 10th Enfield

A very active Scouting mariner, has gained his British Canoeing Union 2 star award and RYA dingy sailing 1 & 2 star awards.

Jonathan Hagger, Explorer Scout

Totally committed Explorer Scout, and works as a Young Leader at the 14th Enfield Scout Troop, providing valuable input during meeting, activities and camps.

Peter Smyth, Scout Leader, 14th Enfield

Has been with the Scout Group since he was a Beaver Scout and is now an Adult Leader. Motivates and inspires others by running an swimming to raise funds for the Group and other charities.

Luke Neal, Scout at 27th Enfield

Has become an exceptional Scout, balancing his Scouting with outstanding maturity, being the 2nd carer after his Dad to look after his Mum who is confined to a wheelchair.

Elise Gerber, Explorer Scout

A keen Explorer Scout, always willing to help at any event. Gives time to help at Danemead Campsite and as a Young Leader with the younger sections within the District.

Sam Barnes, Scout at 27th Enfield

Possesses a joyful and happy-go-lucky nature, particularly kind when dealing with new Scouts who have come up from Cubs, has become a valuable asset to his Leader Team.

Mitchell Phillips, Scout at 20th Enfield

A hugely inspiring and motivational character. Will participate in every activity and will also encourage others to do the same.

Robert Smith, Explorer Scout

Has become an outstanding Explorer Scout, participating in many competitions and activities. Respesented Enfield District as a member of the GLN WSJ Unit and was very active with fundraising.

Jamie McCarthy, Explorer Scout

Particularly active member of his Explorer Scout Unit, works hard as a Young Leader with his local Scout Troop. Has just been awarded his DofE Bronze Award.

Grace Denny, Scout at 23rd Enfield

Has been instrumental in recruiting girls into Scouting, not only bring in her friends but persuading Adult Leaders within the District to move with the times and introduce co-educational Scouting.

David White, Enfield Scout Network

Has taken over as camp organiser and ran three successful well attended events during 2007 which has helped to grow the Scout Network.

Charlotte Hawkins, Scout at 1st Enfield

Showed outstanding maturity at camp, helping her peers overcome home sickness and to end up getting them to thoroughly enjoying all the activities on offer.

Billy Baldwin, Scout at 1st Enfield

Has shown remarkable enthusiasm for Scouting which has rubbed off at home, because he has encouraged to persuaded his father to join the adventure and become Asst Scout Leader.

Adult Award – Debbie Creask, Asst Cub Scout Leader, 27th Enfield

During 7 years as a Leader, Debbie has shown exceptional levels of dedication and commitment that totally exceeds her appointment. Has become a very important part of her Leader Team, and finds time to help maintain the interior and exterior Group HQ. Debbie successfully manages her Scouting within her role as primary carer for her disabled husband – a superb example to us all.
